Terms of use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Centifi (“Service”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
Centifi is expense-tracking software. Features may include budgets, categories, lists, sync across devices, optional receipt photos, and Centifi Pro subscription features. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for ensuring use of the Service is lawful in your country.
3. Accounts
You may register with email and password or sign in with Google or Apple. You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You may delete your account from within the app (Settings → Delete account). Deletion removes your profile and server-synced data subject to our Privacy Policy and legal retention obligations.
4. Centifi Pro subscriptions
Paid subscriptions (“Centifi Pro”) are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment, free trials, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by the store under its terms, not by Centifi directly.
- Subscription title, length, and price are shown in the app before purchase.
- Your subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your store account settings.
- Restore purchases and manage subscriptions in the App Store or Google Play.
- We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status linked to your Centifi account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
- Attempt to access other users’ data or our systems without authorization
- Reverse engineer or scrape the Service except where law permits
- Upload malware or interfere with the Service’s operation
On Android, optional bank-notification features read only notification text you allow on your device to suggest expenses; Centifi does not access your bank login credentials.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of expense and other data you enter. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and sync that data solely to operate the Service.
7. Intellectual property
Centifi, its logo, and the Service are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks except as needed to use the Service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not provide financial, tax, or investment advice. Expense figures and insights are for personal organization only. We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for Centifi Pro in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50, except where law does not allow such limitation.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Turkey shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country require otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
